These boots rock! The fit is perfect, the leather is good quality (what I would expect from Doc Martens boots), and you can’t beat the price with a stick. The silver color is very bright…very glam. I wore them for several hours right out of the box, and they are very comfortable without having to break them in. I would highly recommend purchasing these boots if you want something different and fun. They look great with jeans, shorts or skirts…even a frilly dress.

    Large calves, beware4
    These are very nice boots – I have short legs, so they reached my knee, but I’m told those with longer legs find them a bit short. I could not wear them, as my calves are very large, and these are made for average-size or smaller calves. They are a bit stiff, but a friend who has had a pair for a few years says this is only until you wear them out – something that doesn’t take very long if you wear them a great deal (the way I wish I could). Try to wear thick socks if you are in the process of wearing them in, as at first they can hurt your ankles if you are not careful. Once they are worn in a bit, they become very comfy and will last a good number of years.

    Runs a bit big4
    These boots are sooooo comfy, but they do run big. If you run on the half size and are trying to decide whether to go up or down to achieve the whole size conversion, go down.

    I received these boots today and I was pleasantly surprised; sometimes the picture you see online and what you get are 2 different things. Anyways, right away I noticed how soft the leather was which makes them seem already “broken in.” They have that great leather smell and are made very well. They are pretty much true to size. I wear a size 9 so that’s what I ordered and they are a tad big but thats nothing thicker socks or an insert can’t fix. Very comfortable…I wore them all day without a problem. They look great with skinny jeans and skirts. I wore them with a pair of semi baggy boyfriend jeans rolled up almost to the top of the boot. Very cute. If you’re looking for a rigger type boot that is a bit boyish but feminine at the same time this is the boot for you. The reason I gave it 4 stars: I don’t care for the sole color. It’s a bit strange to me…but I’m willing to deal with it because it is such a great boot.
