These boots are great, great, great
I bought these boots from a Camper boutique in Madrid over the summer, and I’ve been desperate for the weather to cool off so I could finally wear them. Now I have, and I have to say: I love them. I love the look, I love the fit, I love the style. I’ve worn them with jeans and with knee-length skirts (I was afraid that would be a little odd, but it works). I love the contrast of the blue-ish elastic laces on the black boots. I love the rounded toe; I love the side zip and the contrast stitching. I love them so much I contemplated buying the knee-high version, as well.
I’m giving them 4 stars only because I wish they were slightly more generous in the ankle, or something: I do -not- have wide ankles, but they’re fitted at the ankle and this means that the zipper does creep down ever so slightly as I wear them. There’s never a risk of the boot coming undone or god forbid coming off my foot, but it’s annoying. They’re also a bit snug to pull on the first few times you wear them because of the position of the zipper and how your heel fits. That’s easy to move past. Love them.
