Love Ariat Boots!
I needed a weatherproof, easy to clean boot for working at the barn in wet, muddy conditions, this boot fit my needs. I love most Ariat products and I would purchase this one again. I rated 4 stars due to having trouble getting the right size, the sizing may be a little bigger than standard, but I wear with thick wool socks.
Nice warm boot
This is great for mucking around the barn and pasture. They do run about 1/2 size big I found but since they are winter boots I wear thick socks. They are warm and waterproof! I deducted one star due to the sizing … and the fact that it took about three wearings to get the back broken down enough to stop rubbing on the back of my leg… but with the right socks and some breaking in, they are great.
But for the price: a great boot.
Would purchase again EXCEPTIONAL Boot
Shopped…read reviews, re-read everything again. Others shared oversize fit. I ordered my normal size…had it to do over, would again because I can wear regular OR thicker socks. Completely waterproof…have been in mud and deap snow. Breaks-in easily. I was worried about the back rubbing either my heel or leg. I have had no deal-breaker issues. I did get a tinder heel believed to be my fault with bad sock choice more than the boot. Initially, should take care to not wear a sock with slick-y type cloth. I have worn thicker & longer socks & now that the boot is “broke-in” they are my first choice. Bottom tread pattern cleans-up nicely. Design is sharp for a boot of this use-purpose. LOVE the slip-on design. LOVE the quality and should last me with care …for a long time to come.
