I received these boots 4 days ago and I’ve been wearing them all day every day since. These are warm, very soft but well crafted and the size fits me just right. I wear them without socks but my feet keeps really dry, I love these boots. If there were more colors to choose, I’d buy a second pair because the natural canvas is kind of clear. This is the first Emu product that I buy and I’m very satisfied.

I live in the very cold Midwest, where good boots are critical in the winter. Last winter I got a pair of minetonka’s of a similar style, but they had no arch support and cold radiated through the soles on very cold days. I’d tried on several styles of Emu’s this winter, and this style is the only one that comes with great arch support. The quality of the sheepskin is extremely good, and they stay warm and dry even when walking in snow in single digit cold with no socks. My only problem with these is the fold down cuff. I had the impression that the cuffs would stand up or fold down, however, they don’t stand up well over pants because they are slit on the side, though they work just fine tucked inside my pant legs. Folded down, they just seem awkward to me with longer length pants on. That is my only complaint. They’ve been my go-to boots in extreme cold and fresh snow.

I got these boots for my daughter, and they looked so cute I wanted a pair for myself. My only ‘warning’ would be I think they run small. My daughter is a size 2 and I got her the 3 so it would last another season, but they fit her perfectly. I got myself the size 10 and they are very snug – in fact I would have preferred a size 11 but they don’t offer that size. I would suggest ordering a size above your normal size, myself! I normally never have problems with size 10′s (eg I don’t consider myself a large 10 or ever have to buy size 11… except in this case!). Otherwise, love the shoe – very cute, warm and I love how you can wear them up or down/ankle size. Great for kids too!

I just received my Bearpaw boots today. I’m a woman, and usually wear a woman’s size 10, mens 8. I noticed several reviews mentioned that they seemed to run a size small. So I went up a size, good thing, too! They just fit, no extra room for socks, no wiggle room at all. However they are extremely comfortable, and the lug sole is nice. I have a pair of Ugg Ultimate Cuff boots, and I have to say these come really close to the same level of quality. The interior padding is replaceable, and the shearling and suede are wonderful. I have to say that I feel I got an exceptional value for the money I spent. Hopefully these will wear as well as my Uggs.
