Beautiful well made boot
These boots arrived yesterday and I am very pleased with the quality. They are replacing a pair of leather boots I’ve had for 20 years, and I would expect these to last that long, too. Very well made. What I really like is the elastic panel that affords an excellent fit for my calves. I prefer a pull-on boot since zippers tend to wear out before the rest of a boot. These provide a great fit and they are extremely comfortable. Very classic look that can be worn with either jeans or skirts and dresses.

Easy to wear, does the job well
I bought these to use for walking through muck and mud, but they also work on rainy days and even in snowy days (worn them in up to 3-4″ of snow). Easy to clean, really easy to slip on and off, and they fit wonderfully due to the neoprene sleeve inside the shoe.
The price is right too–about 30% cheaper than other, comparable, more “trendy” shoes on the market.
They look a bit silly–I call them my “Duck shoes”–but hell, they work beautifully. Recommended.
Just what I was looking for!
Couldn’t find anything that wasn’t a high rubber boot for rainy weather while fishing with my husband. Being a female with a size 11 shoe my options were few. This boot has a higher front so the male version fits the female foot better. Most male low boots were too wide but this one works perfectly.

Warm, Stiff, Incorrect Amazon description
These boots are tall, well insulated, and I’d agree with the other reviewer’s term “massive.” They seem well-made and with the felt liners they are actually quite comfortable to stand in. Because of their thickness, they are pretty solid/stiff around the ankles (not hard like a cast, but like dense thick rubber). It is a bit awkward walking since your ankle does not have the normal range of motion to flex in, so whether they are most appropriate for your needs depends a great deal upon whether you primarily need water and cold protection or whether flexibility and range of motion are also important concerns. Note, however, that the Amazon description for the cold rating of these boots is incorrect. The Amazon site indicates “Comfort rated for -75 degrees F/-60 degrees C,” but the paperwork with the boots (as well as the manufacturer’s website) list them as “-40 degrees F/-40 degrees C.” That’s still great, but don’t pay more for these than for Kamik’s other -40/-40 boots just because you think you’re getting more insulation. All in all, I’m very happy with them.
Solid bargain
These are nice solid boots. Warm, comfortable, and perfect for shoveling.
I only wish I’d had them last night when I was standing in a foot of frozen water due to a backed up storm drain. These are the kind of boots that will ace a challenge like that.
